Today we welcomed two new PhD students to the IDER Lab. Chethana Adikari (center right) is joining us from Sri Lanka with a background in amphibian systematics, morphometrics, and conservation. She will be working on genomics, molecular evolution, and sexual selection in a Brazilian primate. Jimmy Haugh (far right) is joining us from Michigan with a background in mollusk systematics, morphometrics and evolution. He plans to work on comparative 'omics, molecular evolution, and immunogenetics in California newts.
